  • Your Paper Cut print card is provided by the TCEO. If your card is lost or misplaced, you may be required to pay for a replacement.

  • The Paper Cut card and printing itself is now linked to your CEnet/Google account. If you print something and send someone else to collect, they will need to be given your card, as it will not show up under anyone else’s account.

  • You can send multiple documents to the printer ready to be released later.

    • i.e., there is no longer a need to print 1 document and then go to the printer to collect.

    • You can send, for example, 10 documents to the printer over the course of a day then print them all at once whenever you are at the printer.

  • The print queue resets after 24 hours

  • You can access your printing by entering your @catholic email credentials at the printer, should you forget your card.

titleStudents and Printing - how to collect printing
  • It would be preferred that students are not sent to collect printing as they are unaware of the steps needed to release the documents and they won’t know exactly which document to release if there are multiple documents waiting to be printed.

  • Should a student need to collect printing then you are responsible for ensuring your print card is returned to you.

    • Note - loss of card may incur a replacement fee. Another person cannot swipe their card to print your document.

    • Should a student collect your printing, please make it very clear which document you want printed (as below).

  • Releasing documents to print from the printer can be tricky, documents are identified by their file name. If you have not named your document logically or have downloaded a document or file from the internet without an easily identifiable file name then you may have trouble knowing which document to print.
