"Connect" for Teachers and Students

"Connect" for Teachers and Students

What is Connect?

Catholic Education Tasmania’s Learning Management System (LMS) for Students. The system may be referred to as the “LMS”, “Centralised SchoolBox” or as “Connect” - they are all the same system!

The LMS is an online learning environment which allows you to locate learning materials and activities related to your studies from any location with internet access.

When will the product be ready?

The system is currently in development and in late 2023 there will be two Catholic Education Tasmania Colleges trailing the new centralised system.

Who will use the system?

The two trial Colleges will determine which cohorts of staff and students will use the system and the pace of the rollout.

The system is designed for Teachers and Students as well as Parent and Guardian access.

Parents and Guardians will be given access to the LMS to be able to be kept up to date with:

  • Student learning process

  • Student homework

  • Student timetable

  • School calendar

  • Attendance

  • School activities,

  • Other school related information.
