Installation
Prior to Installation of the new Client the old Client must be removed. Click here for the process.
MacOS
Download the Forticlient installer from here.
Locate the installer in your downloads folder and double click
ForticlientUpdate window will open. Double click FortiClientUpdate
FortiClient VPN installer will download the software. When download is done click Install
When the installation client pops up hit Continue on the next two screens
On the following two screens hit Agree, then Install
There will be a pop up asking for Admin credentials - if you don't have those speak to your local ICT Support
Next is a pop up FortiTray would Like to ADD VPN Configurations. Click Allow. Installation will complete. Hit Close when it’s done
Restart your computer, then proceed to Configuration section of this article
Windows

Download the Forticlient installer from here.
Locate the installer in your downloads folder and double-click execute
When UAC asks if you want to allow the app to make changes to your device click Yes
FortiClient Installer will download the image and then proceed to setup
Tick the Yes I have read the licence agreement box and hit Next
Click Install, wait for the installer to finish then click Finish
Open the Forticlient VPN, tick the Acknowledge box and click I Accept
Restart your computer, then proceed to Configuration section of this article

Open the Forticlient Console
Click Configure VPN
Select the SSL VPN tab and add the following
Connection Name: Connect to CET Network
Remote Gateway: remote.catholic.tas.edu.au
Customise port: 4444
Uncheck: Enable Single Sign On
Client Certificate: None
Authentication: Prompt on login
Uncheck: Enable Dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 address
