Document Overview

It is important to keep your password private and secure. There will be occasions you will need to reset your password due to security reasons.


Instructions

Step 1

In your preferred internet browser enter my.catholic.tas.edu.au in the address bar.

Step 2

On the top right of the page click your name, then click on Settings

Step 3

Once in the Settings page click Edit Profile.

Step 4

You will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to re-enter your password. Enter your password and then click on Verify.

Step 5

You will be redirected again to a page where you can reset your password. Enter your current password into the Current Password selection box. You may then enter your new password into the New Password selection box.

Passwords must contain at least 8 characters, use at least one Uppercase and Lowercase letter, as well as at least one Numerical character.

You will need to enter the password again in the Confirm box to ensure the password is correct and meets password requirements. Click Change Password to complete the process.

Step 1

You will need to contact the IT Help Desk on 03 6210 8886, at ictsupport@catholic.tas.edu.au or submit a ticket via the ICT Support Portal. See our help document on Submitting a Ticket if you need help.

For urgent enquiries please ring the IT desk.

Step 2

One of our support team will walk you through the process. They will request some simple identification information before proceeding.

Step 3

The support team will reset your account password and you will be supplied with a temporary password. You will need to access your account using that password.

Step 4

Once you have accessed your account click on the Settings button.

Step 5

Click on the Edit Profile button.

Step 6

You may be prompted to verify your password. If this is the case you will need to use the temporary password you were provided with again.

Step 7

Scroll down the Settings page to the Change Password section.

Step 8

Enter your temporary password as the Current password and then enter your New password and confirm.
