To use PaperCut as a first-time user, follow these steps

On your computer


1. Open a web browser and enter the web address of PaperCut. https://print.catholic.tas.edu.au/app


2. Enter your username and password to log in to PaperCut. This should be your Catholic Education sign-in credentials. E.g., Firstname.Lastname and password.



3. Once you are logged in, select Web Print on the left side of the page. To upload a document for printing, click Submit a Job.

 


4. Select how many copies you would like of the document. Then click Upload Documents.

5. Drag and drop documents you want to print into the white box. Use Finder(Mac) or File Explorer(windows). Under the white box is a list of compatible file types. If you attempt to drop an incompatible type you will get an error.

 

6. Once all the documents have been dragged & dropped, click Upload from computer. Select the file(s) you would like to print. Once file has been uploaded, click Upload & Complete. Your document is now in a queue, waiting to be printed.

 

7. When document upload is complete click the Submit a Job button to send the print job to the printer.

 

 

The Printer

 

Printing your document. At the printer, scan your printer card.

  1. When you see the ‘Unknown card’ message tap Yes

  2. Next you will see a login page. Use your Catholic credentials to log in. i.e. Username is firstname.lastname

  3. Completed. When your card has been successfully associated with your account you will see a confirmation message

 

Releasing the Print job(s)

  1. Once you are logged into the printer tap Release. This will show the jobs you can release to print. Select the documents you wish to print by tapping the check box to the left of screen.

  2. Tap the Print button on the bottom right and the documents will Print.

  3. Log out. When you're finished using PaperCut, tap log out or press the (physical)Access button
